Children: Darby Merrill, of Saint Anthony (39), Jason (Michelle) Merrill of Grant (37), and Michelle (Peter) Fike of Chambersburg, PA (35). He is survived by his wife Judy Merrill, of Menan (62). His family loves him and will miss him very much. Those who knew him well, however, experienced his big heart and gentle soul. It has often been said that Warren was very quiet and was happiest when left alone. Warren loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and working in his yard. He was employed for Utah Power and Light and Light for 26 years as a lineman and retired in 2001.
In 1969, he fell in love and married Judy Barney of Grant. Following graduation, he enlisted in the USAF and served for 4 years.
He was raised in the Menan area and graduated from Rigby High School in 1963. He was born October 27, 1944, to Sollymon Sylvenus Merrill and Ruth Marine Thorngren Merrill. Warren Richard “Dick” Merrill, 66, of Menan, died Novemfrom complications following heart surgery.
